Terms of Use

1. License

Phioranex grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PhiNote on devices you own, for personal or professional note-taking. The free tier includes unlimited notes and the full editor. The on-device AI features (chat with your notes, Quiz Me) are unlocked through a one-time purchase and do not require a recurring subscription.

2. Your content

You retain full ownership of everything you write in PhiNote. Because notes and AI processing happen entirely on your device, Phioranex has no access to, and makes no claim over, your content.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app or its on-device model.
• Use PhiNote for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent the purchase or licensing system.

4. Purchases

The AI unlock is a one-time, non-subscription purchase processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds are handled per the policies of the store you purchased from.

5. No warranty

PhiNote, including outputs from its on-device AI, is provided "as is." AI-generated summaries, answers, and quizzes may contain errors — always verify important information. Phioranex disclaims all warranties to the extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phioranex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PhiNote, including loss of notes stored on your device — we recommend keeping your own backups.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as PhiNote evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
