1. What stays on your device

All notes you create, and every interaction with PhiNote's on-device AI (chat with your notes, Quiz Me, summaries), are processed and stored locally on your device. The AI model runs entirely offline — none of this content is ever transmitted to Phioranex or any third party, and it is not used to train any model.

2. Information we collect

PhiNote does not require an account to use. We collect only what's needed to operate and improve the app:

• Purchase and license information, handled by the app store you downloaded from (Apple App Store or Google Play), to validate your one-time unlock.
• Basic, anonymized crash and performance diagnostics, if you opt in, to help us fix bugs.

3. What we never collect

We do not collect, upload, or have access to the contents of your notes, your AI chat history, or any quizzes generated from your notes. There is no cloud sync of note content by default, no ad tracking, and no sale of personal data.

4. Optional cloud backup

If a future version of PhiNote offers optional backup to your personal iCloud or Google Drive account, it will be off by default, encrypted, and controlled entirely by you and your platform provider — Phioranex will not have access to that data.

5. Your rights

Because your notes never leave your device, you control them completely — export or delete them at any time from within the app. For questions about diagnostics data or your purchase, contact us below.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as PhiNote evolves. Material changes will be noted in the app.
